2023 Hangout Music Fest Wraps Up with Top Acts and Beautiful Sunset

The 2023 Hangout Music Fest came to a close on Sunday with a lineup of top acts and a beautiful sunset. Rapper Yung Gravy performed in the afternoon, handing out Lunchables and roses to the massive crowd. Electronic dance music duo Hippie Sabotage drew a near-capacity audience to the Boom Stage, while Ashnikko brought her horror-tinged, transgressively humorous songs to the Mermaid Stage. Rapper Kevin Gates took the Boom Stage in the evening, playing many of his hits and focusing on mental health in his set.

The festival’s trademark variety of acts was on full display throughout the day, with country artist Priscilla Block playing a short distance away from Ashnikko on the Mermaid Stage. Fans braved the hazy-bright heat of the early afternoon to catch their favorite artists, and the sweltering heat of the day began to break as the sun began to set.
